Walter L. Sullivan

Born and raised in Somerville, Massachusetts, he graduated from Boston College, studied at Boston College Law School for two years, and after military service, graduated from New England School of Law in l962. He was associated with Lyne, Woodworth & Evarts until l97l, when he commenced the sole proprietorship, which is now known as Sullivan & Sullivan, P.C. He is licensed to practice before all State and Federal Courts in Massachusetts, and the United States Supreme Court. He has tried more than l00 civil actions at both the jury and bench level. In addition, he has represented clients before municipal boards throughout the South of Boston area. He has lectured municipal employees and elected officials at Massasoit Community College, concerning land use policy.

He has represented many trade associations and non-profit organizations and serves as general counsel for the Plymouth and South Shore Association of Realtors, Inc., and special counsel for several other Realtor organizations. He served as special counsel for federal and state regulatory controls for First National Stores, Inc for ten years, until its’ merger and executive office relocation.

His practice focuses on land use, community association, corporate (general business and professional), trade association, and civil litigation.

He is a past President and three term trustee of the Quechee Lakes Landowners Association and a Director and Past President of the Scituate Chamber of Commerce.
